1.Download the App: RE:STYLE is available exclusively on iOS. Visit the App Store on your device to download and install the app.
Registration: Why It's Mandatory
1.Sign-Up: Signing up is a mandatory step to personalize and secure your experience. It allows us to safeguard your data effectively and offer a tailored styling service. You can sign up through Apple, Google, or email. With email you’ll need to provide your first & last name, email, and a password.

Onboarding: Tailoring Your Style
Nickname & Preferences
After registration, you'll provide a nickname for a personalized app experience and select your preferences on colors, jewelry types, and patterns.
Clothing Types & Categories
Indicate the types of clothing you wear and select categories that interest you. This helps refine the algorithm for personalized recommendations.
Rate Looks
By rating looks, you inform our algorithm about your style preferences, helping it learn and suggest looks you're more likely to enjoy.
Wardrobe Basics
Choose basics from our product database to add to your wardrobe. This step is crucial for building foundational looks.
Data & Privacy
Your style preferences, including the images you upload and looks generated, are stored securely with DigitalOcean and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring your data is handled with care.

Uploading Items to Your Wardrobe
Adding items:
Rate Looks
1. Take a Photo: Use your phone camera to take a photo of your clothing item. We'll automatically clean the background and tag the item based on its category and color. You can adjust these tags if needed.
2. Upload a Photo: Select a photo from your photo library. The item will be processed similarly to how it is when taking a new photo.
3. Fashion Library: Choose items from our extensive fashion library. This option is perfect for adding items you own that resemble products from our collection or exploring new additions without photo uploads.
Editing and Managing Your Wardrobe
1. Tagging and Details: Each item in your digital wardrobe can be edited for accuracy. Click on the three dots next to an item to update its name, brand, or tags.
2. Deleting Items: To remove an item from your wardrobe, simply swipe left. This action permanently deletes the item from our database, ensuring your privacy.
Wishlist: Curating Future Favorites
1. Creating Your Wishlist: As you explore the app, you may find items you're interested in but don't yet own. Add these to your wishlist for future reference. This feature helps you keep track of potential purchases or styling additions.
2. Managing Your Wishlist: Your wishlist is a dynamic tool; items can be easily added or removed. This flexibility allows you to continually refine your style and plan your wardrobe expansions thoughtfully.
Data & Privacy Considerations
1. Uploaded images are stored securely on Digital Ocean and Google Cloud Platform, and can be edited or deleted at any time. Deletion removes the image from our database completely.
Creating and Customizing Looks
Using the Virtual Stylist:
Create looks based on your style profile and preferences. Choose from new items, wardrobe-only, or a blend for personalized outfit suggestions.
The virtual stylist is our algorithm that uses the input from the onboarding to create personalized looks. In short, if you select black in your preferred colours, and that you wear straight jeans in the clothing categories, we’ll create looks for you that include black straight jeans.
Build Your Look:
Alternatively, build a look manually by selecting items from various sources, including your wardrobe or our fashion library.
a. There’s no personal data used except the data that you input. We train the algorithm with publicly available images and stylists.
b. We prioritize a fair and unbiased selection process. Our product database doesn't favor any brands, including HUGO BOSS. The only reason you might see more products from a particular brand is simply because they offer a wider variety in our system. If you're a brand interested in showcasing your styles within our app, we welcome you to join our partner network! Apply easily on our website.[CS1]

Your interactions with created looks help refine your style profile, stored securely and used to enhance your styling experience. For example, the algorithm will use your saved looks as input for better recommendations.

Discover a look that speaks to you? Simply click the save button to save it to your lookbook. This personal collection is a convenient way to keep track of the outfits that inspire you the most.

Your saved looks can be neatly organized and even categorized with personal groups such as occasions or seasons in your lookbook. Edit details like look names to make them more meaningful and accessible for future reference, you can do this by clicking on the look and then clicking the 3 dots in the look to edit.
Sharing Looks
Spread the Style
Found an outfit that's too good to keep to yourself? Share it through your preferred social channels. This feature allows you to take a snapshot of the look and send it as an attachment via WhatsApp, Instagram, and more, making it easy to get feedback from friends or simply share your fashion finds.

When a piece within RE:STYLE catches your eye, here's how you can proceed from inspiration to making it a part of your wardrobe:

When something piques your interest, clicking on it will guide you through a couple of options:

You'll be directed to a third-party store where you can buy the item directly.

For items you're considering, engaging the "Should I Buy" button starts a quiz. This feature prompts you to reflect on various aspects of the purchase, like the occasion for wear, similarity to items you already own, and how it fits with your existing wardrobe. After completing the quiz, you'll receive a personalized buying recommendation, which may include styling suggestions incorporating the item.
5. AWIN Tracking
If you proceed to purchase, our affiliate marketing network partner, AWIN, enables us to track the sale. This process may result in a commission for RE:STYLE, at no extra cost to you, supporting our service and allowing us to continuously innovate.
